IWAN: Service hosting platform to support large scale site to site VPN over a hybrid network.
● Improving scalability by replacing in-memory storage which stores routing information to Cassandra.
● Implemented APIs to connect Cassandra with LISP MS/MR service.
● Contributed a fix to an open source project, cpp-driver used for connecting to Cassandra.
● Explored Docker, Kubernetes and Apache Kafka and implemented a prototype for future development.
● Completed Cisco training program on Cassandra.
Multicast:
● Improved efficiency for UBR platform in IPV6 by not sending of group specific query.
● Implemented a registry to get MLD query interval for IPV6
● Added enhancements in the PIM and IGMP protocols defined by the RFC
Firex:
● Helped team to adopt the infrastructure that facilitate deployment, building, testing and creating micro-services. This resulted
in overall software development process to became easier and faster.
● Implemented new workflow automation and execution engine (Firex) to speed up the daily task.
● Extended the Firex infrastructure to support IOS/XE platform.
PYATS:
● Migrated our testing framework from TCL based framework to PYATS which enabled us to write complex test cases.
● Wrote test scripts for Multicast.
