Jan 2022 – Present
• Built a Node.js runtime web application to seamlessly monitor and visualize status and health of AWS Serverless components including AWS Lambda function metrics and AWS CloudWatch Event Logs, improving dev productivity
• Leveraged modular SDK to automate connections to AWS CloudWatch, IAM and CloudFormation services, minimizing dev time in the long run
• Utilized Express framework to configure and efficiently handle multiple asynchronous input output (I/O) requests to AWS endpoints, with custom utility functions managing UNIX to optimize handling of the API requests to AWS services
• Used RDBS for its high extensibility, fault-tolerance, and ACID compliance for persistent management of user credentials
• Leveraged React component library to construct accessible and consistent frontend UI/UX across multiple tabs and views
• Modularized state with Redux toolkit, streamlining component state logic to simplify development and testing

• Implemented Supertest with Jest to develop integration tests to ensure efficient, optimal user routing via front and back

### MarbleJar | Classroom application geared towards teachers to manage and share student goal progress @ Open Source

• Used websockets for cross-platform communication and real-time monitoring of data between client and server, optimizing user experience
• Implemented Redux to optimize component re-rendering using a single source of truth and for easier debugging
• Worked with React Hooks and Context API for cleaner and reusable code, limiting class component usage

•  Built site infrastructure prioritizing scalability and usability employing Test Driven Development (TDD) best practices like snapshot integration and end-to-end API tests to improve application reliability
