- Manage two microservices for prescriptions and fulfilling orders, including integrating with new vendor software and improving order visibility.
- Constantly iterate on a complex fulfillment flow that involve a legacy Rails admin, fulfillment microservices as well as vendor pharmacy software (PrimeRx, SiCompounding) and an automated LDU (Tension linear dispensing unit).
- Troubleshooting stuck orders, work close with Customer Experience, pharmacists and vendors to ensure revenue and smooth customer experience.
- Improve application performance and usability by refactoring legacy code, and removing excessive requests to third-party APIs (DoseSpot, ShipEngine)
- Uphold code quality by reviewing PRs, introducing linters, share knowledge through Notion docs, run monthly Patch Tuesday to maintain apps and dependencies.
