• Designed, assembled, and tested new technologies and enhanced the sustainability of existing projects.  
• Developed the proof-of-concept unit for a water heater that eliminates the carbon footprint from unit operation and heats water during 
off-peak hours to reduce the cost of operation. 
• Used an Arduino and a PLC to monitor and record water temperature and flow rates through the water heater as well as control the pump speed and high-voltage resistive heating elements to maintain a constant temperature

### Undergraduate Research Assistant @ The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art
Jan 2021 – Jan 2022
• Researched the aerodynamics of small birds and insects to find similarities that allow for wing flapping and gliding to set parameters for a 20-to-30-gram flapping robot being developed.
• Used MATLAB to automatically calculate the aspect ratio and average chord length of a bird/insect based on photographs.
• Used MATLAB to generate graphs and figures to analyze trends in the collected data ultimately influencing the final design parameters of the developing robot.
