Worked as a Technical Lead for a large scale, multi-team project. We use the agile methodology and leverage modern technologies to create scalable, innovative, and inspiring solutions for our end users. I work on development tasks across the full stack as well as help to solution the future technical and architectural direction of the application

Worked as part of a remote team of Advisors to support students learning new programming languages and concepts through the Codecademy platform. Students who were struggling to complete an exercise or project would send a question to the team and advisors would choose questions they felt confident in assisting with.

Once a question was chosen I would enter a 1-on-1 chat with the student and support them as they worked to solve their issue. We were given a live look at their workspace in order help identify and work through syntax and logic errors to help solve their problem.

The primary focus was helping the student come to a solution on their own by asking them questions and reinforcing concepts their course had been teaching. I strived to foster a sense of accomplishment in the students and to further their ability to debug and think critically about the code they were writing.
