I started at Centriq Training in November of 2016. I went there after a stint at the University of Kansas, where I decided coding was for me. Through that first C++ class at KU I found enjoyment in the creative process of coding and the satisfaction of seeing your effort come to fruition. I also discovered a new outlook on the world; I am constantly looking for ways to improve my work and even myself. Simple things like playing a video game have turned into puzzles. I try to figure out what's going on behind the scenes, and have realized the hard work that someone had to put into every little detail. What motivates me is the idea that one day I could do something great.
