Hi! I'm Nick. I'm an engineer who loves solving challenging and interesting problems every day, be it a technical issue, how to make a better architecture, or how to help a team work better together.

- 8 years professional full-stack experience with Ruby on Rails, CSS, JS (NodeJS, CoffeeScript, React), and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL). This includes both front-end development of great user experiences and and backend development of sleek REST APIs.
- Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Reinforcement learning, including PyTorch, Tensorflow, and Stable Baselines
- Experienced with generative AI and LLM applications, including prompt engineering and vector database backed RAG solutions.
- Experienced with TypeScript and GraphQL implementations on both client and server-side flows
- Experience with containerization of web and standalone apps with Docker, Docker Compose
- Experienced with AWS services such as S3, EC2, ECS, load balancers, Lambda, building VPCs, and working with IAM. Also experienced with GCP and DigitialOcean. 
- Loves mapping out architectures / solutions to large-scale problems via impact mapping, writing concise project documents, and working with the team to see the projects to completion
