# Nicklas Chen Schmidt > Senior Frontend Software Engineer Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/nicklas I’m a frontend-focused software engineer who loves problem-solving and collaborating with teammates to build robust, intuitive, and scalable web applications. I find deep pleasure in distilling complex systems into user-friendly interfaces. Working at tech startups from fin-tech to robotics fleet management, I’m proud of my evolution as an engineer: from shipping bug fixes, to small features, to significant features, all the way to developing key product features from inception to launch. When I’m not working, I’m playing tennis, urban hiking, or whipping up something delicious to eat and share with friends. ## Work Experience ### Senior Frontend Software Engineer @ Agility Robotics Jan 2023 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area Building out the management platform for Agility's robot: Digit. ### Senior Frontend Software Engineer @ Freedom Robotics Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | San Francisco Bay Area At Freedom Robotics, I designed, developed, and deployed features on Freedom’s robotic fleet management web platform.
