• Leads site teams to perform startup and commissioning of Tridium-based building management systems for new warehouses belonging to a top e-commerce retail company

• Integrates equipment in warehouses including rooftop units, high volume low speed fans, high volume high speed fans, power meters, exhaust fans, door curtains, temperature sensors, fire alarms, hydrogen alarms, generators, etc.

• Conducts retrofit work on existing systems to identify and integrate older equipment into Niagara 4

• Prepares sites for graphics by setting up all supervisor data, trends, alarms, user access, security info, etc.

• Programs buildings before start-up so the team at the site will be able to work quickly and efficiently

• Interface with and integrate equipment from manufacturers such as Trane, Carrier, Lennox, JCI, Greenheck, BAF, MacroAir, Rite Hite, Vertiv, Schneider, Eaton, Caterpillar, Cummins, Generac, Kohler, etc.

• Creates custom programs in Distech GFX to integrate auxiliary equipment

• Ensures buildings are functioning as desired through regular site checks

• Oversee programming, installation, and maintenance of critical monitoring systems for nationwide clients.

• Communicate and develop relationships with clients to manage and resolve matters in a timely manner.

• Conduct programming, testing and maintenance of Building Management Systems in the Charlotte and Raleigh markets.

• Integration of building devices from numerous vendors using network controllers to enhance energy savings, as well as consumer experience.

• Troubleshooting of temperature control systems, mechanical systems, Distech, and Tridium programs.

• Develop original sequence of operations and programs using available mechanical information.

• Design, review and assist in creation of control systems for HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems to monitor and manage energy use.

• Integration of building devices using network controllers to enhance energy savings, as well as, consumer experience.

• Assist Project Manager on temperature control and mechanical projects from Design to closeout. Including all documentation, construction, quality assurance, safety, commissioning, as-builts, and training.

• Direct supervision of employees on project team, including subcontractors and collaboration with government officials.

• Wiring and calibration of control panels and associated field devices.

• Troubleshooting of temperature control systems, mechanical systems, Distech, and Tridium programs.

• Programming of DDCs using Niagara and Distech GFX software.

• Create graphical interface to allow customers to follow and utilize the systems.

• Train customers and prepare documentation outlining proper operations on implemented systems prior to job turnover.

• Design system layouts for reference and approval using AutoCAD

• Review customer specifications to develop scope of supply and implementation.

• Review job specifications to select and order proper equipment, including but not limited to, valves, controllers, panels, and sensors.
