I’m a software engineer in the biotech industry with over 7 years of engineering experience in automation and data systems. 🔬💻

Throughout my career I’ve interfaced with a wide variety of software systems that are needed to support drug manufacturing and R&D. As I progressed in my career I picked up a foundational programming skillset, and I recently completed a computer science program at Rithm School to further develop as an engineer. 

My goal is to use my industry experience and programming skillset to contribute to biotech in a new way as a software engineer. ⭐

• Led backend architecture, design, and development for numerous client projects in the biotech industry.
• Architected and developed recipe manager application Fast API backend to allow clients to maintain control system procedures, including interface with chatbot to allow users to use app with limited training.

### Software Engineer @ JSat Automation Inc

• Scaled product suite for growth by converting four backend applications from Flask to Fast API.
Implemented unit tests for migrated backend functionality, integration tests between application components, and end-to-end tests with Angular frontend. 
• Developed and deployed 8 Python packages for use in internal Fast API functionality, including distributed control file parser for client automation systems.
• Implemented GraphQL backend in Fast API for electronic validation app, and used factories to streamline and standardize regression testing. 
• Created custom symbol for tag data visualization using JavaScript to interface with third-party web API.

• Designed and implemented GxP DeltaV virtual and physical network infrastructure for BioMarin's Novato manufacturing sites. Developed documentation, change control, and testing for qualification. 
• Planned and designed network architecture for Production and Qualification DeltaV systems. Supervised work by contractors for installation and testing.
•	Installed and tested development distributed control system for engineer and operator training, including a simulation environment. 
• Developed documentation, drawings, and testing for qualification of Allen-Bradley PLC and FactoryTalk HMI system upgrade project. 
•	Led project for reconfiguring DeltaV M-Series controllers to adapt BioNet reactor system to meet updated requirements for lab users.
