Assisted in a variety of tasks and designed “Broadcast” profile layout used by a variety of major users, including Purdue University News

• Designed Preview functionality to Vidder, our internal video editing tool, at the request of users

• Re-imagined the workflow for exporting and publishing videos in Vidder in order to increase user confidence and reduce the number of videos that weren’t logged in our internal databases

• Reduced complexity of clip editing tools within Vidder by combining two interfaces

• Conducted user testing to improve usability and get user feedback throughout the process and supplement feedback from other designers

• Audited internal tools for inconsistencies in messaging and began iterating on designs for updates to the design system to be more robust and meet accessibility standards

• Developed a product spec focused on BuzzFeed Community to inform the roadmaps of two related tech teams

I've completed UI, branding and logo design contracts for local startups and student organizations such as Speakalytics and Triia.

• Analyzed dozens of user sessions to develop benchmarks for product performance and generated reports to compare

• Designed wireframes based on user data, stakeholder interviews and known user patterns. Iterated on wireframe designs based on feedback from paper prototyping and stakeholder reviews

• Built low fidelity prototypes using Invision and moderated usability tests to identify opportunities for improvement

• Developed a Node.js web service to interface with Amazon Voice Services as a vital piece of an application to automate customer service

• Built a Web Component using Polymer.js and a SQL Server database to simplify the process of adding help links to ADP pages and increasing overall usability

• Performed competitive analysis on the largest enterprise mobile application platforms in the same market

• Customized the company's Salesforce Instance with workflow and validation rules to improve efficiency of sales calls

• Analyzed sales data regarding effectiveness at targeting different functions of manufacturing operations to find more relevant leads

• Used JUnit to write unit tests to check the functionality of classes necessary for the Catavolt platform to run.

• Created digital maps between the primary Web Applica ons and databases using SQL and Excel as documentation
