Taught myself Swift, Swift UI and Realm. Designed and built the #1 search-ranked camping checklist in the App Store. ### Senior Product Designer @ SpotHero Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Greater Chicago Area 2026 update: SpotHero has been acquired by Uber Designed and helped launch SpotHero for Apple CarPlay, SpotHero's first in-car booking experience, and one of the world's earliest "car commerce" experiences. Ran a closed beta before launching, using Mixpanel and Segment to monitor performance. Owned design on SpotHero's new package plans product (parking for season ticket holders). Contributed to the successful delivery of the product on a tight, contractual deadline (discovery to launch in <5mo). Led discovery work on retention efforts on our mobile apps, an initiative to add PayPal to our web and mobile products, discovery work on SpotHero credits and prepayment, and owned design on a large cross-functional technical project to swap our in-house authentication with Auth0. Helped drive 67% YOY growth on mobile web, and 35% on desktop. Led SpotHero’s product response to COVID-19, and owned the research, design and rollout of our Touchless parking initiative across iOS, Android, web and email. Wore many hats. Made SpotHero better. Created SpotHero's first legally-backed Parking Guarantee. Helped improve our culture and interviewing processes. Launched our Sketch pattern libraries and the SpotHero brand drive.
