Being the only designer at tapdo, almost every project—whether it was an app, a web application, a corporate design demand, or a hardware product—either started with or eventually passed through my desk. I approached each challenge in an analytical and efficient manner, guaranteeing solid, clean, and scalable designs while adapting to the fast pace and budgetary limitations of a small company.
I designed several mobile and web app projects from scratch, focusing on clear and intuitive user interactions. I maintained, updated, and ensured consistency across screens and flows of released apps, working closely with product managers and developers. I handled the copywriting, illustrations, animations, and other creative tasks.
I developed a visual identity that highlighted the playful and innovative vibe the company emanates and implemented it in both digital and print materials, for external as well as internal purposes, fostering a sense of belonging within the team. Together with the marketing manager, I conceptualized and designed pitch decks and the company website.
I collaborated with the development team using GIT, clean code principles and Scrumban in Jira or Notion. I assisted the web developers in frontend development, working with Node.js, TypeScript, React.js, HTML, SCSS (Modules, BEM), and Storybook.js. My scope started out primarily with page and component building and styling. Over time, I became more self-sufficient and eventually took on the responsibility for developing the entire frontend of a wallbox control application, using RTK and RTK Query to handle and transform data as needed.
Other technologies I frequently worked with include Chart.js, Lottie Files, SVG, MJML/responsive email HTML and WordPress/Elementor.
