A software developer with a passion for transforming, storing, and analyzing large sets of data. I studied full-time as a CS Masters Student at UMass Amherst and am open to working data/software engineering positions.

As a VMware Alumn with the role of Member of Technical Staff III, I have experience leading software development projects that require input from various stakeholders such as Staff Developers, Engineering Managers, and Product Managers. By leading a team of software developers, I learned about how one develops and maintains Data Engineering tools such as Spark, Redis, and AWS EFS in complex systems.

Prototyping CS:Vizion is an E-Sports Data Analytics platform, which has taught me that building platforms as a one-man crew requires patience, exploration, and creativity. Patience has allowed me to learn new parts of the tech stack. By expanding my comfort zone out of Python backend development, I learned the basics of frontend engineering by designing and developing the entire user experience of CS: Vizion with Vue.js. Exploration exposed me to essential libraries such as Flask and GSAP that formed foundational components of CS:Vizion (the backend and the SVG animation, respectively). Creativity is what spurred the original idea of CS:Vizion and brought me to think about customer requirements with a Data Engineering perspective.

### Software Engineer @ CloudZero
Jan 2023 – Jan 2026
- Wrote a Jira integration that created, updated, and synced tickets between Jira and the CloudZero platform, expediting development with Claude Code
- Authored, iterated, and maintained a Datadog, Databricks, MongoDB, and Snowflake cost integration into CloudZero 
- Designed a generic cost data ingestion architecture that generically collected cost data from multiple sources using AWS Step Function, Serverless Lambda functions, DynamoDB, S3 and Snowflake
- Maintained and supported delivery of Azure and GCP cost data into the platform for sales sensitive deals
- Utilized Test-Driven-Development on all new lines of code with unit, integration, and smoke tests
- Monitored complex AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts with SumoLogic
- Proactively responded to and fixed customer issues regarding data integrity and timely data delivery

- Designed and authored the REST API of CloudHealth’s policy engine first, contributing with Ruby code and MySQL table migrations, collaborating with CloudHealth customers until final deployment
- Deployed an 82-fold performance acceleration in a production pipeline processing terabytes of data daily by optimizing ElasticSearch queries, deploying using a Jenkins-based CI/CD system
- Scaled a complex Spark algorithm delivering aggregated AWS billing data to CloudHealth’s principal enterprise customer under tight deadlines with frequent communications with various organizational and external stakeholders
- Contributed towards AWS Elastic MapReduce (EMR) integration into CloudHealth’s engineering architecture by refactoring CloudHealth’s RabbitMQ messaging system between EMR and legacy pipelines coded in Ruby
- Designed and delivered a production security revision that accesses sensitive customer AWS billing data
- Wrote comprehensive unit tests for all code delivered to production to sustain high-quality deployments
- Reviewed Github pull requests of team members and of engineers outside of the team as a representative of the team to sustain the team’s high quality codebase
