As lead content designer for Facebook’s preventive health work (including COVID-19 products and campaigns), I collaborated closely with other cross-functional leaders to set team and product strategy; developed and evangelized research-based best practices for use by designers and PMs across the company; ran crits and review sessions; and partnered with directors and other senior peers on projects with significant cross-company involvement. Our work connected over 2 billion people from 189 countries to reliable information about COVID-19.
