We were a UX design team of up to 4 designers.
The team shipped Nest Thermostat 2020, Nest Thermostat E for boiler systems, the Nest Temperature Sensor, Nest Thermostat feature parity in the Google Home app, among other software releases.
Received 2020 team bonus for launching Nest Thermostat 2020.

Successfully promoted one of our designers, another successfully converted from a contractor to a full time employee, and yet another was placed into a role for maximum career growth potential. Designers placed in more senior roles successfully demonstrated their leadership.

In partnership with GE Healthcare, our 6 person student team spent 4 months researching, interviewing, and shadowing medical radiology professions in their usage of their existing PACS system -- a radiology system to analyze, dictate, record patients' medical diagnosis.  From the CICD research, we proposed, prototyped and evaluated a next generation PACS design.  Main client: Mark Morita. 2 patents filed.

Alarm clock that strives to teach and empower children, ages 2-4, the telling of time, when it is time to stay in bed and when it is desirable to be awake. 
How can we help busy parents be better parents via a bedtime routine the parents can enact with their children in the setting of the reverse alarm clock system.
