I was on the App Platform Team, building and maintaining a framework that powers the microservices architecture at Blend. App platform handles the interaction between the UI and the backend services, and the communication among these micro-services, including data fetching, workflow loading, and transitioning. I also contributed to the configurable platform product and added support for multiple applicants to share data and simultaneously access workflows.

Gusto builds payroll, HR and benefits software for small businesses.
I was part of the 'run payroll' team responsible for tax calculation. Partnering with payment and filing team, we make sure Gusto payroll system runs correctly and smoothly. I was the tech lead of a major backend architecture refactoring, leveraging time series data, event-driven architecture and micro-service to break the performance bottleneck of end-of-quarter payroll reconciliation process.

Started as a backend engineer working on the QuickBooks self-help platform, we consolidate help content from multiple data sources and perform a contextual search based on the user activity to dynamically populate self-help content to help the user navigate through the application.
I later moved on to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) core banking team focusing on pre-processing bank transactions before they are fed into the accounting engine for categorization.
I also had full-stack development experience for a couple of years, focusing on reconstructing end-to-end user experience by building React components and integrating them with backend API.
