I'm currently a software engineer at Robinhood, working on Futures for the iOS app. I'm interested in using design and technology to create innovative products that change the way people think, interact, and engage with the world. 

Previously, I was the founding engineer at Daffy, a modern donor-advised fund and giving community, and an iOS engineer at Twitter, working on the Client User Interface team. I was also a Design Fellow at IDEO CoLab, and interned at Microsoft, Yelp, and Twitter. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Computer Science, focusing on human-computer interaction and design (go bears!).

### Founding Software Engineer @ Daffy
Jan 2021 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco Bay Area
• Build mobile & web at fintech startup founded by Adam Nash, ex-Wealthfront CEO
• Own timelines and product direction as Growth Lead; build contacts import and viral loops
• Manage an engineer: provide technical guidance, code reviews, and regular feedback
• Scaled team to ~25, through funding rounds (Ribbit-led Series A) and thousands of Daffy members
• Expanded the public profile, and built features for the social timeline as Social Lead
• Architected the iOS app from the ground up with Swift, UIKit, and MVVM, as the first engineer (0 to 1)
• Designed features in Figma, and now participate in design critiques as a reviewer

### Software Engineer @ Twitter

• Led the creation of an in-app iOS design system library, and modularized pieces of the codebase
• Led the Profile Bio Translation project for iOS, collaborating with localization teams to build the feature
• Implemented pinned lists and made UI improvements for Twitter for Mac, a Catalyst app
• Collaborated with design, product, and QA on implementing system sync when iOS 13 was released
• Participated in a design rotation with the Health team, and led a sensitive content flagging project

### Design Fellow @ IDEO CoLab

• Conducted research on the dynamic workforce to improve recruiting for non-traditional workers
• Completed the human-centered design process to brainstorm, interview users, and finalize an idea
• Prototyped SkillStack, a new resume format, through compiling "cards" on an applicant's whole self

• Created progress indicators for loading images behind a feature switch/experiment using Objective-C
• Implemented features for accessibility such as alt-text surfacing and VoiceOver swipe actions
• Coordinated with the product team to develop project presentations and experiment details for iOS

### Software Engineer Intern @ Yelp

• Built the Collections tab on the iOS application that increases discoverability and value of the platform
• Optimized image loading through batching requests and lazy loading for auto-generated content
• Architected multiple experiments to test the effectiveness of various onboarding flow changes
• Utilized Swift, Objective-C, Model-View-ViewModel architecture, and Yelp iOS style guide

### Software Engineer & Product Management Intern @ Microsoft

• Collaborated with users to investigate proposed Visual Studio features with 200+ interest votes
• Wrote a development feature specification after validating a set of problem/solution hypotheses
• Engineered 3 features, using C#/XAML/Blend, that were pushed to the release shipment stage
