Many products sold on Amazon are through 3rd party sellers who use Seller Central to manage their business. My main project was to redesign a recommendation tool on the homepage of Seller Central, seen and interacted by hundreds of thousands of sellers every day. I worked with the PM, TPM, SDM and the development team throughout my internship and launched the project successfully at the end of summer. I also led a four hour design workshop with my design team of 12 to envision how our selling platform should evolve to be most useful to our customers. Some of the activities I took the team through were: - Dividing participants into groups of two and making each group take on a different persona and think through the persona's lens, listing out their persona's daily activities, wants and needs. - Making each group take five things away and keep five things based on their persona's needs. - Affinity diagramming new features and ideas and voting on them. - Discussing and making tenets for their new vision of the platform. The insights from this workshop aided in creating new design directions and ideas for our platform, Seller Central. ### Gallery Staff @ The Sarnoff Collection Gallery at TCNJ Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 • Maintaining and working with the David Sarnoff collection which consists of over 6000 artifacts. • Introducing visitors to the collection and preparing tours for the visits. ### Gallery Assistant @ The College of New Jersey Jan 2013 – Jan 2015 • Actively engage in various responsibilities in the process of installing exhibitions such as painting, installing pieces, removing pieces, setting up for opening, etc. • Introducing visitors to the collection and explaining the presented works. ### Office Assistant @ The College of New Jersey Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 • Publicized events of the college across various platforms for the Department such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and WordPress. • Communicated professionally to address problems/inquiries of students and teachers. • Executed diverse projects as assigned by the supervisor. ### UI Design Intern @ Creative State Jan 2014 – Jan 2014 • Create wireframes and UI design for apps and websites. • Compose design briefs, style guides, and user personas for various technologically driven projects. • Create design material for the agency including animations, posters, and web design. ### Social Media and Events Coordinator Intern @ TCNJ Department of Art and Art History Jan 2014 – Jan 2014 • One of the two selected students for the internship. • Created visual material for publicizing visiting artists; conducted artist interviews, in charge of all the social media, etc. • Aided in the program development of visiting artists at TCNJ. • Coordinated exhibitions and events for the Department. ### English and Math Tutor @ Talent Development Jan 2012 – Jan 2013 ## Education ### Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Interactive Multimedia The College of New Jersey Jan 2012 – Jan 2016 ### West Windsor Plainsboro High School South Jan 2008 – Jan 2012 ### Master of Business Administration - MBA The University of Chicago Booth School of Business Jan 2021 ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/niveda-harishankar --- Source: https://flows.cv/niveda JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/niveda/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-25
