What excites me most is that every new project presents an opportunity to learn new skills or improve existing ones. Over the years I have taught myself a wide array of skills, some of which include how to make an iOS app, Full-Stack web app, leather goods, and even cut my own hair... ish. ### Technical Operations Engineer @ Tubi

- Designed and implemented a subtitle editor using React and VideoJS. Also created a feature to suggest potential fixes for out of sync subtitles which reduced the amount of time it took to fix subtitles and frequency of asking partners for redeliveries.
- Implemented a data grid using React Grid that allowed our partnerships team to view and organize data on redeliveries which reduced the amount of ad hoc requests for very specific and hardcoded reports. 
- Created a solution for reviewing new available titles leveraging Algolia to scale with our ever growing library. This solution simplified the steps and domain knowledge required so what was previously done by 2 specialists was offloaded to the whole QA team. 
- Redesigned and implemented our content search page to reduce the number of clicks a user needs to find desired content. Reduced UI lag by leveraging a virtualized table.

• Applied Styled-Components to create easily manageable, modular and scalable stylesheets
• Dynamically populated database with Boba shops based on user demand through API integrations while also preventing invalid or redundant entries

• Utilized Action Cable to integrate WebSockets with the application for real time features so users can chat with the professional they wish to hire
• Integrated Paperclip with active record to allow users to upload and attach images to display on their profile

### JavaScript Developer @ Brain Battles (Side Project)

Two-player game that improves reaction time and pattern recognition
• Manipulated CSS animations, durations, cubic bezier and timeout intervals based on user reviews to ensure responsive feedback for key input
• Wrote algorithms for score tracking to reward players for maintaining an accuracy streak in order to deliver a more fluid gameplay

### Full Stack Developer @ Wonderlist (Side Project)

Single Page Application inspired by Wunderlist and Remember the Milk
• Implemented search functionality through employing active record queries, so users can find desired task quickly
• Applied BCrypt to encrypt user passwords and only storing the hash of the password, to ensure user’s sensitive information is secure
