I’m an agile Software Engineer / Firmware Engineer with a focus on test-driven development, building and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating regression tests, and integrating systems. For several years, I’ve had the distinct privilege of doing this for IBM, and now I’m seeking to do the same for a new organization while expanding my skillset.

Throughout my career, I’ve served as the go-to developer for building and putting into place technical solutions, automations, migrations, integrations, etc. that improve how different systems work together. From automating labor-intensive processes to bringing about system efficiencies, I have a knack for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging. I also enjoy working with global cross functional teams to resolve technical issues.

## Work Experience
### Software Engineer @ IBM
Jan 2019 – Jan 2023 | San Jose, California
- Increased the efficiency of the CI/CD pipeline and minimized blocks by integrating zFOCS, an internal virtual mainframe environment, into the Jenkins firmware test pipeline (using Groovy and Bash scripting).

- Maintained the firmware regression test pipeline through version control migrations, server migrations, and multiple mainframe generations.

- Used Robot Framework and Python to automate weekly system network testing, which was previously completed via a manual, time-intensive process.

- Led the successful Python 2 migration to v3, which enabled the code base to remain supported.

- Created a modular, scalable, and easy-to-update Python SDK (utilizing OpenAPI) to produce libraries that could be automatically generated. Shared the SDK with other teams.

- Communicated with teams globally to debug networking issues in the developer test machines.

- Provided training and background knowledge to new engineers during the onboarding process.

### Software Engineer Intern @ IBM
Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Poughkeepsie, NY
- Developed software for the z/Transaction Processing Facility (z/TPF) as part of an Agile team.

- Wrote a RESTful web service in Java to move data from z/TPF to a remote Apache Kafka server, which enabled the data to be more organized, reliable, and scalable.

- Wrote a back-end driver in C/C++ to support the Apache Kafka web service enabling it to fully integrate with the z/TPF operating system.

- Presented the web service to z/TPF clients demonstrating how it could be used to increase efficiency.
