As the Product Lead for the re:3D Touchscreen, I successfully brought the early stage MVP product through the initial beta product launch. A highlight feature allows customers to perform software updates on the touchscreen either through over-the-air or locally from a USB drive. I put an emphasis of driving the product iterations through constant usability and participatory testing.

I was brought on the re:3D team the summer of 2018 after having a fantastic conversation with the company's CEO about the future of 3-D Printing. My past experience with Desktop 3-D Printers and open-source software allowed me to create a positive impact in a short amount of time at re:3D. I updated re:3D's software with the open-source software, Marlin (written in C++) and developed features that take advantage of Gigabot's unique hardware. I increased re:3D manufacturing output by 250% and machine print quality by 20%

I came on board the Additive Manufacturing team at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to design a small scale screw extruder for FDM printers. The vision was to create a 3-D Printing tool head that can utilize plastic from failed prints to create new 3-D Prints with. I prototyped a few designs to test the feasibility of the concept and demonstrated the the flow rate of the granulated plastic through the screw extruder. The team then milled an extruder head out of aluminum from the prototype model.
