• Understand the goals, business requirements and constraints for the project.

• Help to translate business requirements into user stories.

• Conduct secondary research, including trend benchmarking and competitor analysis.

• Coordinate on average 20 events/year.

• Events range in size anywhere from 100-2000 guests.

• Manage team’s roles, shift times, timecards, and breaks. (Ranging from 4-12 staffers depending on the size of the event)

• Foresee and quickly solve any problems that may arise during the event.

• Ensure proper execution of approved floor plans.

• Facilitate learning experiences for visitors of all educational, financial, and cultural backgrounds. (Avg. 1200 field trip students each day)

• Give enthusiastic orientations to field trip groups of 15-75 visitors at a time. (Avg. 4 orientations/day)

Maintain upkeep of exhibits on the museum floor as needed

• Design, propose, test, implement, and reiterate systems for the Field Trip team; allowing us to perform our jobs and be our best selves.

• Perform/teach a variety of demonstrations to visitors about sound waves, light bulbs, botany, cow-eyeball dissections, etc.

• Lead trainings and meetings to colleagues.

• Drive for continuous improvement when it comes to UX/UI quality of work, ability to execute, and willingness to put ourselves into uncomfortable and new product spaces

• Deliver experiences that bridge the gap between users, clients, and internal needs through interactive prototypes, screen flows, and other forms of rich media content

• Collaborate internally and with client-side designers, product managers, engineers and other stakeholders allowing diverse perspective to come to the table

• Assist in securing large-scale projects by showcasing culturally aware design

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their contentment with the agency’s culturally attuned work

• Design and develop cutting edge, AI-driven food ordering experiences for desktop web, mobile web, and mobile app, both independently and leading a team

• Produce animated and interactive prototypes with documentation featuring design guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability of design across multiple products and platforms

• Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities for improving the user experience
