Looking to increase my impact and face more difficult challenges, I switched over to the UI Infrastructure team. I've been leading a project involving multiple senior engineers to migrate our entire frontend to a multi-package architecture. My responsibilities have mainly shifted to those of a software architect, writing architecture proposals and engaging in long discussions with other stakeholders to arrive at optimal solutions. During this project I've also had the opportunity to run regular meetings and set long term technical direction
I recently received an Engineering Applause Award for my technical contributions, particularly for a highly efficient automation program I wrote to accelerate the project.

Operated as a member of the core component library team. My responsibilities included building components in React, reviewing code, identifying and implementing large re-factors, and advising on architectural decisions. I was one of the leading voices for discussions relating to our UI, which affected several dozen engineers. I also have worked across the stack in Scala and Jenkins to build new infrastructure for our team.
Toptal is a platform for freelancers that only accepts 3% of applicants. Via Toptal, I am currently contracting out to Rubrik as a member of their core front end library team. Previously, I worked via Toptal as a full stack developer for the start up DebugBear
Conceptualized, led, and developed a free website that taught people how to code.
The project unfortunately was abandoned due to lack of funding and burnout, but at its height I was leading a team of three engineering contributors and one designer, determining the direction of the company and its content, and creating the highly optimized stack from scratch.
Re-architected Diem.com's background to decouple the front end and back end, eventually using WordPress as a headless CMS with Gatsby and Sass on the front end.
