# Olivia C. > UX design leader | Data-driven strategist | Reversing climate change Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/oliviac1 Senior design leader driven to restore the health of the planet. My superpowers are creative problem solving driven by user data and creating consensus around product strategy. I have consistently launched insightful and polished products, even in scope- or data-constrained environments. I lead and communicate with clarity and empathy, and build productive, engaged, happy cross-functional teams. I’m a natural at creating structure and simplicity out of complexity. I apply exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with partners at every level and stay ahead of the game on full-scale UX projects with a ton of moving parts. I’m dedicated to driving design strategy and launching creative products at scale for an organization advancing global decarbonization. My climate journey thus far: • In 2016, my team's web app submission to the USDA Innovation Challenge won the Large Organization Recognition Award. It maps land and growth density data and displays rainfall and crop yield graphs so farmers can plan for dry years. • At Stitch Fix between 2018-2022, I advocated for including sustainability information on our merchandise so shoppers can choose to buy clothes produced responsibly, made from sustainable materials, by vendors who contribute to environmental causes. The broad swath of design work I did for merchandisers, vendors and consumers reduced returns, packaging, and shipments, and informed more efficient buying of the right amounts, sizes and styles of inventory, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint. • I organize and participate in beach and neighborhood cleanups and tree planting locally. My family and I have used our electric bike as our main mode of transportation for five years. My 2024 resolution is to shift to a more plant-based diet. • Since 2022 I've done headshots, product, lifestyle, and event photography highlighting a plant-based milk tea company, Twrl Milk Tea, and vegan shoe company, Veerah. • I graduated from the Terra.do flagship fellowship Climate Change: Learning for Action in April 2024. ## Work Experience ### Staff Product Designer @ Baton Jan 2024 – Present | San Francisco, California, United States • Driving product discovery, design exploration, and design through an AI-powered platform that eliminates waste and lowers carbon emissions by optimizing how our $12-billion portfolio of freight is moved. • Expanding product platform into automotive, a new vertical with relays and just-in-time operations.
