I'm a tech guy. I've always been THE tech guy in my social circles. The kind of person to build a computer in middle school and write scripts and macros for all the games they played. 

My path to becoming a software developer was very meandering one. I've been through Sales and Customer Support. I've led teams onboarded new hires across the west coast region. No matter where I went I always felt myself drawn to what I always felt was my calling. Building things to enrich people's lives. Along the way I picked up a wide variety of skills, and as a result have picked up a relatively unique product and test driven mindset to software development. 

I'm the developer that speaks marketing and product just as well as I speak engineering. I have experience in team leadership. My time as a QA Lead on an engineering team informs my test first approach to development.

Pioneered the Quality Assurance team at Beepi. Worked with the Product and Design team to best understand their vision for the features being rolled out. Used a deep understanding of the product itself to help the engineering team be as true to that vision as possible. 

Used existing tools within the company to create a responsive test cycle. This priority based system was designed to catch both bugs and potential user concerns during early development and address them before going live. A dual focus on both actual bugs and product concerns pushed the standards for quality on release higher than before I took on the QA role. 

Worked with Moblie team to develop and execute a test plan for the Android App. 

Worked with Front End and Back End engineers to develop and execute a test plan for a website redesign that would use React.

Worked with Salesforce Engineer to help develop the system for the Outreach Team when the company made the decision to switch over. 

Tested functionality and recommended new features. Used a priority based system and continued to iterate and improve the system even after launch to the team. 

Worked with my Manager and the Salesforce Engineer to create a system that almost doubled our productivity and minimized wasted time on duplicate contacts.
