Driving User-Centered Design for Career Pathing and Talent Management at SeekOut Grow

As a Senior Product Designer at SeekOut, I played a pivotal role in developing the Grow platform, an AI-assisted talent management solution designed to help organizations understand and develop their internal talent. My work focused on creating intuitive, user-centric designs that empower HR leaders and employees to align career aspirations with organizational needs

I designed Engagement Loop Builder, a user-friendly tool that enables marketers to easily create and send email campaigns using a drag-and-drop interface. This system incorporated data science models in a way that was previously only possible using SQL code, greatly simplifying the process for marketers. Due to this tool, Credit Karma saw a 1.1% increase in profits.

I helped design a live selling platform for e-commerce retailers to connect with customers in real-time. I designed the visuals and user experience, drawing inspiration from popular live streaming platforms. I also helped create a customer-facing side of the platform where customers could interact and make purchases directly from the chat. Additionally, I made improvements to the seller portal to make it more community-friendly.

At Kaplan, I first served as a senior user experience designer and researcher, working on Kaplan Student Home, a portal for students to track their learning progress. I conducted research with over 2000 students to understand their needs and wants. I was later promoted to design manager, where I led the successful redesign of the Kaplan CFA mobile app and managed a team of 4 designers.

I was responsible for redesigning the Kuali Conflict of Interest system, a tool used by researchers to disclose their financial interests. Through conducting research panels and understanding the needs of the community, I designed the application to be a user-friendly, step-by-step interface that simplified the disclosure process. The redesign reduced the number of questions from 20 to one question at a time, making the experience much more manageable for users.
