Hello, my name is Omar Khan, and I am a dedicated and passionate software engineer with a broad spectrum of experiences and skills in the field. Over the years, I have amassed expertise in various specializations within software engineering that I hope will highlight me for my coming opportunities. 

I graduated from the University of California, Davis in September 2023 with a B.S. in Computer Science. My coursework covered a wide range of subjects, such as Data Structures, Computer Architecture, Statistics for ML, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and more. In academia, is where I learned the fundamentals of computational linguistics, agent-based models, operating systems, and advanced programming concepts.

Currently, I am working full-time as a Software Engineer at RheoSense. Here, I am serving as a Full-Stack Engineer developing data analysis programs and multithreaded viscosity measurement systems. I have garnered a plethora of professional skills during my time here. These skills include Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, quality assurance and unit testing, bug-fixing, multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment. I have worked closely with our R&D team and clients such as Eli Lilly, Regeneron, and Pfizer to develop meaningful, impactful products which can be constantly improved upon. 

Throughout all these experiences I have become proficient in a wide range of programming languages such as: Python, Java, C, C++, C#, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and more. 

My journey as a software engineer thus far has been both challenging and rewarding, always filled with opportunities to learn, innovate, and contribute. I am passionate about leveraging my skills and experiences to create impactful software solutions and am always eager to tackle new challenges in this ever-evolving field.

## Work Experience
### Software Engineer @ RheoSense Inc.
Jan 2024 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area
• Developing Clariti, a Windows application to allow databases populated from RheoSense units to be deeply analyzed, built using the .NET framework in C#
. Updated programs that were created with WinForms and WPF under an MVVM structural pattern
• Provided software support to a number of F500 clients including Eli Lilly, Regeneron, and Pfizer.

• Developed and tested Innowi units.
• Resolved customer issues by traveling on site and taking measures to prevent issues from reoccurring.
