- One of two developers of Biometric Passport, a React Native app, to provide solutions to employee vaccination and testing records during the pandemic with 1000 DAU.

- Migrated Vue apps into React with improvements, migrated Flutter apps to React Native to unify our tech stack. Expanded test coverage for these apps.

- Architected and developed React Native modules for our internal React Native apps, including a genomic data analysis SDK, a reliable and interruptible mobile data uploader for large files. Optimized these libraries to reduce battery usage and improve performance so that they could be run on the edge.

- Collaborated with a team of six to work on the Android and iOS app.
- Refactored components across over 20 files to follow reusable design patterns for maintainibility, reducing verbose and repeated code.
- Fixed various issues and UI bugs, and implemented features to improve performance such as lazy page loading.
- Increased test coverage by 60% by introducing end-to-end testing with detox
- Set up a robust native error handler and reporting with Raygun, which allowed us to capture and respond to several critical bugs immediately
