I'm Ozzy, a software engineer at Canary Technologies (YC S18) working for the triage pod. I do SSO, auth, engineering investigations, and generally try to be a helpful teammate.
My main tools are Vue.js, Django (a python framework), Datadog, and AWS for all the things.
Further Technology LLC is an AI platform serving senior living and behavioral health operators, helping teams more effectively engage and convert prospective residents.
As an Integrations Support Engineer, I design and implement client integrations across a range of partner systems (CRM, telephony, marketing automation, etc.), supporting deployments from growth-stage operators to enterprise organizations.
I also build internal tooling and automation to streamline onboarding, reduce implementation time, and improve reliability across our integration pipeline.
Canary Technologies (YC '18) is a leading hotel software startup, serving over 20,000 customers in 80+ countries. As a software engineer in the triage pod, I specialize in diagnosing and resolving complex bugs across our tech stack. I also support our Customer Success team by improving internal tools and processes, and collaborate with organizations to implement seamless SSO integrations with Canary. I'm very anti-bug lol. Lets leave software better than we found it.
The Athens MHA is a local government authority tasked with providing affordable housing for low income families across the Athens County area. I am a software engineer (on contract) redoing the Athens MHA's website with React + typescript. The site's focus is on outreach, and will thus be optimized for SEO, web accessibility, responsiveness, and easy management through the Contentful CMS. Core technologies used are NextJS, Contentful, Go, AWS S3, and MongoDB.
I worked at the Eclipse Academy as a web developer on contract. I wrote and deployed an internal Dashboard using NextJS, Typescript, Go, Excelize, and the Google Calendar API. The dashboard reduced the time required to create session logs down from 2+ weeks to 3 seconds.
I am a contract developer at the Athens Central Hotel using React, Typescript, NextJS, NodeJS, and Golang to build our new production website from the ground up. I am also coding up an internal price analysis tool. I am also leading the website rewrite to improve our SEO and grow our web bookings.
Whenever appropriate, I engage with customers as required (taking bookings, handling check-in, check-out, etc) as a front desk customer service rep.
The hotel already has a remote team of developers that maintain our hotel management system, and it is my job to make sure our internal systems are consistent with their tools. I ensure that their APIs work with our website (eg. for hydrating room prices, etc).
