Led team of product designers spanning entry- through staff-level roles. Successfully shifted Engineering, Product Design, and Brand Design orgs to new design system, led rearchitecture of customer-facing platform and integration of internal tooling capabilities into customer-facing product. Partnered closely with CEO, CTO, and VP of Product on overall product strategy and execution, and Product Marketing on GTM initiatives.

Machine learning infrastructure that just works.

Founding designer and lead for Amazon Fraud Detector, launched at re:Invent 2020. Amazon Fraud Detector enables AWS business users to quickly generate ML-powered fraud detection applications trained on their own registration and transaction data, based on Amazon's decades of fraud monitoring intelligence.

Led design for workflow management & automation tooling within the Foundry commercial platform. Received patents for both products.

Managed, coached, or mentored over a dozen designers across Palo Alto, NYC, and London, including managing managers; recruited and interviewed product design & UX engineering candidates.

Served as global co-chair of the Palantir Women in Tech organization, fostering inclusion across the company; developed company-wide coaching program; led overall brand design, recruitment strategy, and outreach efforts, including partnerships with Girls Who Code and Hexagon UX.

Owned platform vision and design execution for Palantir’s largest commercial client, managing a team of three designers.

Led product design intern program, including managing the intern managers, interns, and hiring decisions.

Regularly represented Palantir Design by giving talks and facilitating workshops for high-profile visitors at Palantir headquarters, including high-ranking U.S. & international government officials and C-suite executives.

Contributed components and icons to Blueprint, Palantir’s open-source design system.

Beginning & Intermediate HTML & CSS instructor for the Seattle chapter of Girl Develop It, an organization focused on technology & engineering education for women.

Wireframed, prototyped, tested, built, and polished production-level interfaces for the core Simply Measured application; worked closely with developers to achieve UX + engineering harmony.

Worked with Director of User Experience to design and build a design system, allowing engineers throughout the company to quickly build consistent interfaces across all web-based projects.

Led design of internal source-versioning software through development of user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes; conducted individual user testing interviews and group discussions with end users (analyst team) to lead and validate design decisions; established visual design and worked closely with engineers to implement design atop Excel using WPF.

Co-chaired the Simply Measured Cultural Advisory Board; led the “Design Guild,” the group consisting of all visual, web, and user experience designers at Simply Measured to help create a more cohesive design language across all facets of the company.

Managed UX interns for two summer seasons.

Created class called "Design & Technology" focused on design thinking, product design methodologies, and HTML5 and CSS3 for students in grades 9 through 12.

Developed protect-based curriculum. Brought in guest speakers to talk about their experiences working in various roles in the tech industry.

Took students on field trips to area companies specializing in UX research and product design.

Developed and led a three-hour User Experience workshop focused on sketching, wireframing, and prototyping.

Social strategy manager for zulily members’ overall site experience, specifically social referrals; developed extensible tracking ID structure for all social interactions, both outgoing and incoming.

Strategized and wireframed social features for desktop & mobile.

Used SQL to determine usage of and demand generated from these social interactions and iterated on product and social strategy to increase member referrals.
