Why Glean, and why now? Human-AI interaction is having its moment. "Search is the closest thing we have to magic" is true now more than ever, with millions of people interacting with AI tools and having "aha!" moments when something great happens. We're on a mission to realize this promise at work. With the AI transformation underway, the nature of knowledge work itself is being shaped by products like ours. We get to build the future we want to see every day, and are in a unique place to expand human potential.

But AI itself won't get us there. I'm also interested in the concept of trust between humans and computers, which previously drove me to contribute in the crypto and security space. I worked on Okta Verify and FastPass, products that millions use during their work days to access their work apps. I led design for Blockchain at Berkeley while onchain savviness was nascent and on-ramp UX still remain unsolved. If you're building in this space, I'm interested in hearing from you.
