I helped lead a small startup team to completely re-write their frontend web application using pnpm, Typescript, Vite, and React. We handled complex tasks related to user media and video capture.

I helped design, architect, and deliver performant web applications for use directly by the customer. During my time here I built a new application from the ground up using Typescript, React, Redux. I optimized performance by tuning bundle size, lazy loading resources appropriately, and adding effective caching mechanisms where necessary.

I also handled some leadership tasks including, but not limited to: software upgrades, monitoring incoming customer related bugs, and managing branch cutting / code promotion.

As a feature lead, I helped my team follow best practices for the SDLC using React, Node.js, Objection.js, and MS SQL. I also mentored less experienced engineers and provided in-depth code reviews, had regular meetings with our product owner to plan our release roadmap, handled after-hours production releases, and handled multiple administrative tasks from database migrations to server setup and management.

I built multiple responsive production ready Angular applications here using both AngularJS and Angular. I learned and executed SPA / REST architecture and best practices.

I am responsible for providing valuable input to the business as well as the technical side of our team. I am expected to be able to complete any velocity story on my own and in a timely manner. The technology stack has remained the same from what I've described in my previous job description below.
