I architected and spear-headed a major effort to rebuild our checkout and post-order experience for our users while collaborating with designers, product managers, and stakeholders. In the end, we released a new checkout and post-order experience while increasing orders being placed by 15%, decreasing canceled orders by 25%, and decreasing customer support tickets. At Blizzard as a senior full-stack engineer on the Identity Team, I lead a major effort to audit and redesign our applications to meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards. These applications reach over 27 million active users and used in over 100+ games and products that are critical to to the business. I built a new reusable UI template using Javascript, SCSS, and Vue.js as well as improved error, form, and authentication handling on our Java and Spring Framework backend. We met deadlines, reduced tech debt, and released to successfully meet all WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
