I led projects focused on unraveling how individuals engage in creation, learning, collaboration, and cooperative work, while exploring the potential of the desktop computer both as a social device and a service. Leveraging the innovative features of the HP Sprout, which involves two touch surfaces in tandem with augmented reality and blended reality capabilities like 3D capture using computer vision technologies, I have taken the lead in designing an ecosystem of immersive experiences. The goal is to transform people's desk surfaces into dynamic digital-physical workspaces.
I designed end-to-end experiences that span activities such as 3D capturing, editing, and printing for learning, creativity, and teaching. Additionally, I crafted experiences for document capture, sketching, writing, object recognition, remote collaboration, and interaction using touch or stylus pens. This involved direct collaboration with students, teachers, patrons, designers, artists, and curators. The focus was on understanding the evolving landscape of creative possibilities at home, in schools, and in public spaces such as maker spaces, museums, libraries, and various commercial environments.
