My prior experience was as a UX Research Specialist at Stars Behavioral Health Group. I led and support data collection and data systems in conjunction with the Business Analytics team to create intuitive corporate-facing patient databases and convert patient information into data visualizations for directors to present to CA county representatives. I have a background in clinical behavioral therapy and data collection as a special needs Behavioral Interventionist. This sparked a passion for working in healthcare. My work as a therapist informed and drives me as a designer to be empathetic, compassionate, and attentive to detail, in addition to making me well versed in data collection/synthesis and research. In addition, I am a veteran writer, and proficient in technical copy obtained for years working at NBC Bay Area as a content producer.
