# Paul Muehleip > Software Engineer II @ Weave Location: South Jordan, Utah, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/paulmuehleip I’m Paul — a software engineer and Marine Corps veteran who loves building things that scale and help people. At Weave, I focus on backend engineering, building highly scalable messaging platforms that support millions of interactions. I work with Go, gRPC, Kubernetes, and distributed systems—bringing together performance, reliability, and clean design. In addition to engineering, I run Turbo Tank Cleaner with my dad—a small business that started as a practical fix for a common problem. This has now grown into a high-volume e-commerce brand on Amazon. From digital strategy and development to marketing and logistics, I’ve learned how to wear the hats needed to grow a business in a competitive market. My foundation comes from four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where I served in Japan. That experience taught me problem solving, discipline, and adaptability under pressure. After the Marines, I earned my CS degree from the University of Utah and began my path in tech. Outside of work and business, I’m passionate about weightlifting, fitness, and pushing my limits. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer II @ Weave Jan 2023 – Present | Lehi, Utah, United States ### Digital Strategy, Marketing, and Web Development @ Turbo Tank Cleaner Jan 2020 – Present | United States Turbotankcleaner.com is the e-commerce business that sells the Turbo Tank Cleaner, a tool designed to make water heater maintenance easy and affordable.
