I am currently working as a Machine Learning Lead at Doppel for domains detections, scanning the entire internet to find cybersecurity attacks and proactively taking them down to protect your brand. As a Senior AI Engineer at Regrello, I worked on building scalable and reliable web AI applications as well as conducting research on the latest models. My work included building various AI agent tools, spearheading self hosting open source models, and creating various datasets for model testing. Salesforce acquired Regrello.I have co-authored a paper on automated code editing, which proposes a novel hybrid approach to synthesize code edits by leveraging code search, generation, and modification. This paper has been accepted for publication at IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering's June 2023 edition. My paper is also accepted to two prestigious conferences, the International Conference of Software Engineering 2024 and Foundations of Software Engineering 2024.I hold both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University. In 2021, I was recognized as one of the most successful Turkish scholars under the age of 25. During my academic tenure, I received numerous awards, including the Shvidler Scholarship and the Grace Hopper Scholarship.

• Conducted pioneering research to investigate the impact of edit-generation models on the accuracy and efficacy of code editing processes within the SARGAM framework
• Developed and evaluated different retrieval techniques, including TF-IDF, BM25, and PLBART embeddings, as baselines for patch retrieval, with each technique matched with similar modalities during retrieval
• Improved automated code editing performance through a sequential approach of generation followed by editing, as opposed to direct editing models
• Evaluated the proposed approach on two tasks: code editing and automated program repair, demonstrating its high effectiveness and outperformance of state-of-the-art methods in most settings
