I am a Full-Stack Web Developer. My favorite languages are Python, Kotlin and Javascript but I consider myself generally language-agnostic. Before I became a developer, I majored in Psychology at UC Davis. I started doing statistical programming at research labs which lead me into programming full-time.

### Senior Software Development Engineer @ Amazon
Jan 2021 – Present | Austin, Texas, United States
I work on Prime Air's integration with the Amazon pre-checkout and checkout experience. To accomplish the next phase of markerless drone delivery, I designed and lead the implementation of systems that precompute address eligibility and how we can integrate that with Amazon checkout systems. In 2024, we launched this feature which allows you to see the drone delivery option with no added latency to checkout and tell us exactly where you want your package delivered in your backyard.

In Last Mile, I used to lead the project to prevent electric vehicles from getting stranded by monitoring their telemetry and predicting battery usage based on what we know of the rest of their route. Once we know they have battery risk, we find a suitable vehicle for them to exchange packages with on-route, or recommend they return to their station to charge if the risk is too high.

Months 15 - End: Android Tech Lead: we built the Android app from the ground up in Kotlin. The core of the app is concerned with live video streaming and creating the best sports viewing experience for our users. I spent about 90% of my time working on Android features and 10% developing backend features in Node.js/Typescript to support the mobile experience.
Months 9 - 14: I primarily worked on improving our payments infrastructure to receive payments from Stripe, Apple, Roku and Amazon. We revamped the system with a focus on testability, stability and performance.
Months 1 - 8: I iterated on the front-end in Angular to improve user experience using A/B tests. This includes a mini-player preview, a new subscription funnel and a custom A/B testing library we made to replace Optimizely at the edge using Fastly.

### Software Engineer @ Cratejoy

I started at Cratejoy as the #20 employee. When I started, Cratejoy was a SaaS platform focused on being the one-stop-shop to start and build a subscription business. In my 3rd month, I was tasked with building a marketplace to showcase our merchants and drive subscriptions. I was given 6 months to build an MVP with a designer and a product manager. Over the course of those 6 months, I architected and built v1 of the marketplace in Python with Flask, Backbone.js and later React.js. It did well enough to warrant more work. Cratejoy allocated more engineers and resources to the project and it is now Cratejoy's sole focus.

### Digital Intern @ Juicero
Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 | San Francisco
I worked as a digital intern with full-stack web developer responsibilities in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, Node.js, and Angular.js tested with Karma and Jasmine. My internship project was to build out a simulator which would simulate many users ordering machines and juice, and then pressing the juice or having the juice expire in their fridge.
