# Philip Balliet > Product, Design, Strategy Location: Oakland, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/philipballiet I approach design as a strategic partner to unlock growth. My strength is seeing the-forest-and-the-trees at the same time to find creative tactical solutions to unlock product led growth: inventing new features and user behaviors to drive user engagement and revenue. Whether full-time, freelance or advising, I've helped Seed to Series C startups across sectors: medical, data, security, social, education, and finance. My academic background is in Philosophy. While at Stanford, I had the opportunity to travel both nationally and internationally to present my original and published work. I enjoy (slam) poetry, yoga, hiking, the outdoors, and wild animals. -- "So we wrench ourselves out of the familiarity of our surroundings and ask whether an understanding of the totality of which we are a part can become part of the self-understanding by which we live."
