• Worked with an amazing cross-functional pod to improve the experience of Instacart’s 100K+ grocery shoppers worldwide - shipping dozens of digital inventions and improvements, and saving Instacart $10M+ annually.

• Created and led the Instacart Design System team that guides all mobile product design. Built a net-new design system for iOS and Android, and used it to inform Instacart's future product direction and design strategy.

• Collaborated with management and executive leadership to draft and pilot a net-new product development process, aimed at improving cross-functional communication and product quality.

Hardware and Industrial Design

• Directed design, rapid prototyping, CMF, mechanical engineering, and supply chain for multiple hardware devices with a cross-functional team, generating $4M+ revenue and building the company from 4 employees to 28.

• Traveled and formed partnerships with 26 suppliers in the US and overseas to manufacture cosmetic plastics, metals, packaging, and electronic assemblies.

• Collaborated with external partners to invent electronic sensors and mechanical assemblies that advanced Eko’s design vision. Led DFM/DFA and solved medical-grade ergonomic, UX, acoustic, and regulatory challenges.

• Led design for Eko’s office headquarters from concept through construction.

• Designed Eko’s HIPAA-compliant diagnostic support apps for desktop, mobile, and web from scratch. Grew user base from 0 to 10K+ active clinicians worldwide.

• Untangled advanced medical insights into simple, elegant workflows by facilitating user research and discussions between all stakeholders.

• Built Eko’s comprehensive design system from the ground up to unify broad UI/UX architecture and detailed interaction elements.
