I'm a software engineer based in New York City!

I have seven+ years of full stack development experience leaning on the back-end, and with my last role with a health-tech startup I took steps in container-based infrastructure, scalability and the testing and deployment cycle. Love working to develop a product, love consumer-facing features, and love working with a team of skilled engineers, product experts, designers, and QA analysts who all bring their own diverse viewpoints and skills, making my work that much more effective.

I'm currently actively looking for roles that are back-end or full-stack oriented at the senior level. I've worked with Python, Ruby, JavaScript and the various libraries therein, dev-ops tools (Kubernetes, Docker) and Cloud services (AWS, GCP). I have a solid grasp of fundamentals of computing from when I studied Statistics as an undergrad at CUNY Baruch while taking Computer Science classes to satisfy my major. I am a fast learner, and I love to learn by reading others' code and starting to immediately do some hacking.

I have experience working as part of large, distributed teams with several core product reaching tens of thousands end users, while I've also been a part of a small, agile dev team at a French startup!

• Built a portal for COVID-19 testing, processing 1,500 antigen saliva kit updates daily across New York and Connecticut at the height of demand for COVID tests
• Consumed medical events published to AWS Simple Queue Service, providing 60,000 monthly users with their genetic testing results on a feature-rich dashboard built with React
• Adopted a constant deployment and integration cycle with CircleCI and GitHub, scripting the process in Python
• Worked in various states of our application across different Kubernetes pods, testing and demoing new features across a Rails monolith and two Rails microservices
• Migrated our application’s queueing, file storage, and database solutions from Google Cloud Platform to Amazon Web Services with minimum overhead
• Served as mentor and onboarder for four hires on engineering team in a leadership role

At Partoo, I shipped full-stack features as part of a startup building a software-as-a-service data platform around web presence. My code reached over 8,000 unique monthly users across larger Europe (France, Germany, Italy). Automated Cron and Celery tasks to pull from dozens of API systems (Google My Business, Facebook Pages, Yelp, Foursquare, Yellow Pages etc). I moved JavaScript templated front-end to a brand new single page React application, while applying an automated testing suite with Jest and headless browsers in Cypress. Spearheaded the creation of continuously refreshing live analytical dashboards using D3.js and AWS Lambda.
