I am Philippe, a young engineer enthusiastic about the energy transition and new technologies to push humanity forward. I am currently automating circuit board design at JITX, a startup in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Background :
I did my undergraduate in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech in Paris. At that time I focused on projects of machine learning, computer science and image processing.
During my internship year at the end of 2018, I worked as full stack developer in an AI company in Paris. I built chat-bots as well as an ecosystem to configure them, train them, annotate them and deploy them to several platforms.
Then eager to discover the world, I went to Hong Kong to build high frequency trading automatons at Laplace RC, connecting several trading strategies to several exchanges and products in real-time. I worked on data collection and processing to make custom orderbooks for quantitative research.
Finally at UC Berkeley, I kept studying machine learning and FinTech while I dived into robotics, computer architecture, embedded systems and integrated circuits.

Our mission is to automate the design of printed circuit boards by developing software tools.
My missions:
- Development of algorithms to generate easily-readable schematics of printed circuit boards.
- Creation of a web infrastructure for electronic component sourcing and product monetization through authentication and user management capabilities (hosted on AWS)

They learn the relational database model and the mathematics of relational algebra and Structured Query Language (SQL). Laboratory sessions use Microsoft Access and students work in teams to design and implement working prototype databases for local organizations.
