● Built new features for an internal payment visibility platform with 4k daily hits and indexing over 34m
payments, using React, Java, SQL deployed on AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
● Improved user experience of payment visibility platform through load time improvements and refactoring (60% improvement in latency in one of the improvements).
● Migrated payment and invoice metadata to a new data store with no downtime.
● Wrote documentation and scripts to help engineers fix operational issues while on call, saving the team around 10 hours per week.
● Handled incidents while on call and coordinated with team to bring the amount of tickets from over 500 to around 200 over three months.
