Working on Model Performance

Founded Clay, a software company that produced web-based software for 3D collaboration. I raised a seed round from Thrive Capital, Y Combinator, and others, hired a led a team of engineers, and with my team grew the business over three years.

Started an independent machine learning engineering consulting business. Projects included a system for extracting text information from legal contracts and a system for predicting electricity prices in the energy markets.

Helped launch multiple engineering teams across Airbnb including the AI Lab, Host Growth, and Marketplace Quality. Early member of the Search team.

Selected case experiences include analyzing capital investment opportunities as part of a 3-year strategy for a leading telecom, analyzing the threat of online competitors to a brick-and-mortar retail client and supporting an R&D transformation for a leading global pharmaceutical company.
