• Conducted modifications and maintenance on ground radio and telecommunications equipment to ensure mission readiness and success for Marine Air Control Squadron 1 (3rd Marine Air Wing)

• Led a team of qualified maintainers through troubleshooting communications systems to ensure reliable service.

• Managed all maintenance operations within the unit to include Detachments throughout the California and Arizona area

• Maintained records for all preventative maintenance,repair,modification,exchange, and receipt of equipment for the unit

• Forward deployed with 3rd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion (3rd Marine Air Wing) as a Security Forces/Provisional Infantry Squad Leader with the mission of static defense and crisis response for an area of operations encompassing several countries overseas

• Ensured total accountability of 10 personnel with weapons, and equipment

• Conducted training, mentoring, and counseling for squad and platoon sized elements to provide proper security and crisis response for a static, defensive positions and various patrol missions in an Area of Operations which housed over 500 service members and $1.2 billion in aircraft and infrastructure

• Developed and conducted various Live Fire Training Ranges, Tactical Decision Exercises,Preemptive Drills, and Random Anti-Terrorist Measures to maintain a high level of mission readiness and confidence among the Platoon

Planned and implemented various data network configurations. Configured CISCO switches/routers, and end devices to provide service to over 150 users. Managed a team of Marine IT specialists and maintained accountability and readiness of over 250 assets (including classified encryption devices) totaling over $800,000 in value.
