As an embedded product design consultant, I partner with startups and growth-stage companies to help them move from idea to market quickly while maintaining a high level of product craft.
I balance lean startup speed with mature product design practices to help teams ship valuable products quickly while laying the groundwork for scalable design systems and product-led growth. I also help companies establish workflows and collaboration practices that enable engineering teams to move faster while maintaining quality, and sometimes assist with finding and onboarding first design hires.
I frequently use AI tools such as Claude, Lovable, Figma Make, v0, and ChatGPT, to accelerate ideation, research, prototyping, and product definition. These tools help to explore concepts faster while still grounding decisions in real user needs and business constraints.
Selected work:
• FollowUp - Built and launched an AI-assisted SaaS product that helps job seekers write thoughtful recruiter follow-ups. Led the product end-to-end including UX, AI workflows, product architecture, and pricing.
• OfferFit - Designed the MVP for an AI-driven offer and content testing platform operating on first-party data. The company raised $36M across Series A and B and was acquired by Braze in 2025.
• Averi - Designed the MVP for a generative AI platform focused on marketing strategy and staffing. The company raised a $3M seed round in 2024.
• Cisco - Redesigned and migrated legacy workflows into Salesforce Sales Cloud while contributing to Cisco’s SLDS-based design system to increase team design velocity.
• EB Control - Designed award-winning product experiences for a secure end-to-end data sharing platform that received two patents.
• Kineon - Led a team of offshore designers to redesign Kineon’s native mobile app in the MedTech space. The redesigned experience helped the company exceed its IndieGoGo campaign goal by 5,000%.

Lead design for CarMax's messaging strategies, including acquisition, activation, progression, and transaction. Also leveraged my expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud to optimize workflows and refine the architecture of customer journeys.
• Collaborated with engineering and program leaders to implement operational best practices in
Salesforce Marketing Cloud, resulting in improved workflow efficiency and enhanced team
collaboration.
• Redesigned the Partner Intake process using automation and AI to be 3x faster with reduced
error and churn while increasing accountability and transparency.

I drove UX consistency and measurable improvements by designing the appropriate deliverables, utilizing Usertesting.com for research, and working with UX leadership to create best practices and standards for our team and product org.

• Designed a new Buy It Again widget, resulting in an increase of $2.5m MRR. Feature accounts for 4%
of all revenue from Search.
• Made design changes to Ink and Toner Finder resulting in an increase of $117k MMR.
• Saved Staples $2m annually in support costs with an award-winning redesign of their intranet, The
HUB, used by thousands of associates daily.

• Conducted a full audit and reconciliation of 3 design systems into a single design system of 300+
components from scratch in Figma, resulting in reduced design-to-development handoff time by
55% and decreased component-related bugs by 37%
• Standardized campaign workflows across the marketing suite resulted in a 33% reduction in the
number of screens and a time on task reduction of 47%.
