The Veraz SBC is modeled in a way that it can act as an SIP ALG for message security, an IMS compliant P-CSCF/I-BCF in the control plane, an A-BGF in the media plane or any combination of these. The unique architecture of the SEG allows it to be deployed as an Access-SBC and an Interconnect-SBC between peering networks. The scope of the project involved solving application requests raised by designers, executing major and minor enhancements as well as product testing for application features related to ATM and IP services offered on Passport. Key Accomplishments - Key architect and designer for the ATM SPVC Call Redirection feature delivered to one of Nortel's key customers. - Provided onsite design support for the 5&30Min PMs for IP feature. My effort and dedication towards this feature was honored by an Individual Excellence Award. - Executed and supervised the execution of the Alpha and Beta phases of the testing for the Local and Global Rerouting feature.
