I am currently based in Bay Area and working as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Asurion, a leading provider of device insurance, warranty & support services for cell phones, consumer electronics & home appliances.

At Asurion, I am responsible for collaboratively working with various teams to build, deploy and operate the systems. I work on automating, streamlining operations and processes by leveraging DevOps tools. I am responsible for maintaining tools for code repositories, artifact repositories, code coverage, build, deploy, monitoring, Infrastructure Provisioning and Config Management. I am also responsible for architecting Cloud and on-prem Infrastructure in an optimized and secured fashion. I document, mentor and socialize the usage of tools and processes to other team members as part of team cohesion. 

I have a strong background in supporting J2EE based applications on Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat and Jboss on different flavors on Linux. I am a big fan of Open Source Technologies and always eager to implement it as much as possible to re-engineer/automate processes.

I hold a Masters in Computer Engineering from University of Houston-Clear Lake.
