Backend-focused software engineer with experience building and operating systems that sit on critical business and user flows, especially in fintech and regulated domains.

At Upstart, I worked on identity verification and risk decisioning systems used in the loan approval flow. I contributed to improving how verification signals were calculated and consumed in real time, helping balance fraud risk, approval accuracy, and customer experience.
